Data processing is based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) regarding technical logs, and on the user's explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for non-essential third-party content, as well as on the performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) when the user contacts the controller for booking, collaboration or sync-licensing requests.

4. Communication and extra-EU transfer

Data is not disclosed or sold to third parties. It may be communicated to technical providers (hosting, network services) acting as data processors. The use of content embedded from SoundCloud, Spotify, Bandcamp, Mixcloud, Leaflet/CARTO, Font Awesome (cdnjs.cloudflare.com), Google Fonts and Unsplash may involve data transfer outside the European Union, in particular to the United States, on the basis of adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable).

5. Retention period

Technical logs are stored for the time strictly necessary for security purposes, generally not exceeding 12 months. Emails and messages received are stored for the time necessary to handle the request and, if a contractual relationship arises, for the time required by civil and tax regulations.

At any time the user can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Italian DPA — Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, garanteprivacy.it). To exercise these rights, simply send an email to privacy@kingior.it.

The controller adopts technical and organisational measures suitable to protect personal data from unauthorised access. This notice may be updated: the date of the last revision is indicated at the top.
